European Human Rights Network of Towns Project's first international meeting started

European Human Rights Network of Towns (EUHRENET) Project’s first international project meeting started with the participants from ten partner countries.

We met to discuss fostering participatory democracy and human rights via the development and implementation of local policies based on the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights.

Impact:
The “European Human Rights Network of Towns” project addressed the need to consolidate local resources and hear from the local citizens about their needs and challenges to enjoy their human rights. The project contributed to developing new local civic activism groups and networks, promoting human rights, diversity and inclusion.
