On behalf of the ILA, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations on this year’s Europe Day, celebrated annually on May 9th. This special occasion marks the anniversary of the historic Schuman Declaration in 1950, which laid the foundation for the European Union as we know it today.

Europe Day is a time to reflect on the values that unite us as Europeans, such as democracy, freedom, and respect for human rights. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural diversity that exists within our continent and to recognize the contributions made by each member state.
