Business in Cultural and Creative Sectors Seminar Held in Amsterdam
Amsterdam, Netherlands: On 30 September 2023, the second local activity of the “From Tradition to Innovation” project was successfully conducted at B&B City Farmer Amsterdam.
Registrations were done, and welcome drinks were served to attendees between 08:30 and 09:00. The day’s event was initiated with a welcome address from 09:00 to 09:15, where an introduction to the “From Tradition to Innovation” project was provided and an overview of the day’s schedule was given.
A keynote titled “Bridging the Gap: Merging Traditional Art with Innovation” was delivered from 09:15 to 10:00. A 15-minute Q&A session followed this. Attendees were then offered a coffee break from 10:00 to 10:30, which also served as a networking opportunity.
Workshops were at the heart of the day’s activities. From 10:30 to 11:15, a workshop focused on the business in cultural and creative sectors was held. This was followed by another workshop from 11:15 to 12:00, discussing a 10-year projection for businesses. Post a lunch break, two additional workshops were conducted, addressing learning needs and resources from 13:00 to 14:30.
The seminar neared its conclusion with an action plan discussion from 15:00 to 15:45, emphasizing the next steps. The event was wrapped up with closing remarks and a feedback session from 15:45 to 16:30, where a recap of the day was presented, and participant feedback was collected to enhance future activities.
