Circular Economy and Waste Transformers Training Course held in Amsterdam.
Thirty academics, school principals, teachers, and students participated in a transformative learning mobility training on May 16, 2023. The training was part of the “Our Future: Useful Recovery” Erasmus+ project granted by the European Commission, with ILA as the Dutch partner. Focused on the circular economy, garbage disposal systems, and waste transformers, participants were informed about key topics. They learned the importance of increasing recycling facilities and converting biological waste into useful products. The training emphasized expanding the use of organic fertilizers and preserving soil quality for sustainable land management. This comprehensive training equipped participants with knowledge and tools to address environmental challenges effectively, fostering skills for a circular economy.
As the “Our Future: Useful Recovery” project continues to unfold, the impact of this learning mobility training will extend far beyond the participants’ immediate learning experience. It will inspire them to incorporate circular economy principles and sustainable waste management strategies into their educational practices, leading to a more environmentally conscious and resilient society.
