Educational Insights at Secondary Agricultural School ‘Kocho Racin’, Sveti Nikole
During the study visit to the Agricultural School “Kocho Racin” in Sveti Nikole, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of North Macedonia’s agricultural education system. The school, operational since 1961 and evolving over decades, now offers specialized training in agriculture and veterinary medicine, with programs for agricultural technicians, agro-management technicians, phytomedicine technicians, and veterinary medicine technicians. A key highlight of the visit was how bio-humus production is incorporated into the curriculum, providing students with hands-on experience in sustainable farming methods. This integration enhances the educational experience and aligns with contemporary needs in sustainable agriculture. Discussions about the potential application of project results in this educational setting were particularly engaging, opening up new avenues for collaboration and application of sustainable practices in agricultural education.
