Final Transnational Meeting in Larisa Ensures Successful Conclusion of CAMRAS Project

The final Transnational Project Meeting for the “Increase the Capacity of Migrant and Refugees in the Agriculture Sector” (CAMRAS) project was successfully held in Larisa, Greece, from October 29th to November 1st, 2024. Hosted at the IED the meeting gathered project partners. The agenda focused on critical topics such as finalizing the project’s handbook, platform updates and planning for future dissemination activities. The partners also discussed ongoing project tasks related to evaluation, sustainability, and quality assurance, ensuring the project’s successful completion.

The event was a significant milestone in wrapping up project deliverables and a platform for partners to exchange experiences and insights gained throughout the project. A special emphasis was placed on evaluating the job portal developed during the project, which aims to support the integration of migrants and refugees into the agriculture sector. The meeting concluded with a social dinner at a local restaurant, fostering deeper collaboration among partners. Certificates of participation were awarded on the last day, recognizing the contributions of the project team in achieving the project’s goals.

Impact:
The “Increase The Capacity Of Migrant And Refugees in Agriculture Sector” project created better employment opportunities for migrants and refugees to improve their living standards and integration into the host society. The project developed an online employment and learning platform for employers and job seekers in the agricultural sector.
