ILA Hosted Public and University Representatives in Amsterdam as Part of the Eskişehir Rural Tourism Development Project
Eskisehir Advances with Rural Tourism (ETAP) project carried out its first learning mobility to Amsterdam, with a delegation consisting of the representatives of Eskişehir Governorship, Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Seyitgazi District Governorate, Sivrihisar Municipality, Çifteler Municipality and Osmangazi University. ILA hosted the delegation between 08-14 November.
Şaban Dişli, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, welcomed the delegation on the fourth day of the mobility. The delegation informed the Ambassador about Eskişehir’s tourism potential during the meeting. Promoting Eskişehir’s cultural heritage in the Netherlands and attracting investment was the agenda of the meeting.
The ETAP project is carried out under the coordination of Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism with the support of the European Commission Erasmus+ Grant Program. The project aims To create employment opportunities and provide economic development through rural tourism and guest housing in rural areas of Eskisehir.
The particular goal of the project is to set up two guest houses in the district of Çifteler and five guest houses in Seyitgazi and Sivrihisar districts, with the experience gained during the learning mobility and 18 local training.
