PowerWorms Project’s Fifth Training Begins in Malatya on the 16th of July 2024.

The PowerWorms Project’s fifth Learning Training Teaching Activity commenced today in Malatya, Türkiye. Malatya Turgut Özal University hosted the event and began with a welcoming speech and opening ceremony. Rasim Aydın, President of the Turkish Worm Fertilizer Manufacturers Association, and Güler Cebbar, Agronomist at Riverm Compost Vermicompost Ltd. Co., delivered insightful presentations on vermicomposting practices and its future in sustainable agriculture. Additionally, Rowin Snijder from Le Compostier shared his experiences on community composting projects in the Netherlands. Participants engaged in lively discussions, setting the tone for a productive week. Following the sessions, participants enjoyed a cultural visit to the historic Arslantepe Tumulus, enriching their experience.
