Urban Farmers Celebrate World Farmers Day with Compostier Visit
On May 14, World Farmers Day, ILA celebrated with urban farmers by hosting a training mobility in Amsterdam. As part of the Powerworms project, partners from Türkiye, Greece, Spain, and North Macedonia participated in a three-day activity. On the first day, they visited Compostier, where Rowin Snijder shared insights about the company’s story, product, and strategy as the founder of social enterprise. The visit highlighted Compostier’s expansion of worm hotels across the Netherlands and abroad, facilitating knowledge transfer to the partner countries and promoting sustainable urban farming practices.
